π¨ π’πππππππ: The UK Government has issued Roman Abramovich with a final chance to comply with the transfer of the Β£2.5BN proceeds from the sale of Chelsea, which have remained frozen for more than three years.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves has today granted a licence permitting the funds to be transferred to a newly established foundation, set up to distribute the money to humanitarian causes in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has warned Abramovich that he must commit the funds or face legal action, which would allow the UK Government to proceed with releasing the money.
