Former Argentine striker Martin Palermo is full of praise for Inter star Lautaro Martinez: ‘For me, he’s the best striker in Europe.’

Former Boca Juniors star Martin Palermo lauded Inter star Lautaro in an interview with Argentine podcast Clank!

“Lautaro. For me, he’s the best striker in Europe,” Palermo said.

“He scores goals, he’s powerful and continuously looks to score. But at the same time, he drops deep to play the ball, he moves a lot, passes the ball wide and runs inside the box. He does these movements without being clumsy, as they told me sometimes.”

Lautaro is the best scorer in Serie A this season with 14 goals.

The 28-year-old Inter captain has scored 18 times in 33 games across all competitions this term, having also bagged four goals in seven Champions League appearances.
