Burton sign Hemel Hempstead forward Matthews-Lewis

Burton Albion have signed forward Millar Matthews-Lewis from National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Brewers with the option of a further 12 months, subject to EFL approval.

Matthews-Lewis came through Luton Town's academy and represented the Hatters' under-18 and under-21 squads before joining joined Farnborough in 2024.

"He's had a good season so far and we see the potential for him to develop further," Brewers head coach Gary Bowyer told the club website.

"Millar can score all types of goals and is really keen to learn."
