Port Vale have signed experienced striker Andre Gray on an initial deal to the end of the season.

The 34-year-old recently left Turkish club Fatih Karagumruk, who he joined a year ago following a three-month spell at Plymouth Argyle.

Gray has scored more than 150 goals during his career and his previous clubs include Luton Town, Burnley, Brentford and Watford and he also has 13 caps for Jamaica.

"He's got a wealth of experience and his goalscoring record speaks for itself. It's fantastic to have him on board and I know he's raring to go," said Vale boss Jon Brady.

Gray's arrival will help fill the gap left by Devante Cole's departure to Luton Town on Saturday.
